West Jackson Coalition

Welcome to West Jackson!

The West Jackson Coalition, part of Bridging the Gap Outreach Ministries, is situated in the heart of Mississippi's capital city. The neighborhoods that make up West Jackson are nestled just west of downtown and are home to two of the city's major institutions: the Jackson Zoo and Jackson State University. We are a group of local pastors, community leaders, and volunteers who come together on the fourth Wednesday of every month at designated locations. Our meetings are focused on prayer, planning, and meaningful discussions. Our goal is to bring together congregations and clergy of various denominations in the West Jackson area, building a stronger community united under the guidance of Christ.
