Our Story

In 2018, inspired by deep prayer and a God vision for the Jackson Mississippi metro area, Bridging the Gap Outreach Ministries was born. We saw the challenges and brokenness in our communities and asked ourselves:

  • Could there be a ministry in Jackson that unites churches and organizations to make a profound difference?

  • What if we could gather churches and ministries from the same regions to collectively reach out to their neighbors in the name of Christ?

  • Imagine a united body of Christ transforming Jackson, echoing Christ's prayer: "I pray that they will all be one" (John 17:21).

Bridging the Gap aspires to be that catalyst. We believe in empowering churches and organizations to connect more deeply with their communities. Since our inception, we've organized over 20 community events, from toiletries drives to vacation bible schools for at-risk youth and festive neighborhood gatherings. We've touched over 300 souls in the Jackson metro area, leading over 10 individuals to Christ. Along the way, we've forged strong ties with community leaders, politicians, and law enforcement.
